How do you know if strips are suitable for repairs?

The first thing to pay attention to is the condition of the platform. Damage to the sole is inevitable with the use of strips. This could include chips in the plastic, small cracks, etc. Cracks can form both on the outside, which will be visible, and on the inside of the platform, which will only be apparent when a specialist disassembles the pair. If you see cracks in the platform or heel, they can get larger at any time, and it's best not to send the pair to us for repair. We once received a comment in a private message: it's profitable for us to repair the sole ourselves so we can sell the client new ones. No, it's not profitable; repairs are an important part of our business; we started with them. Therefore, we treat platforms and strips, including those from other manufacturers, with the utmost care and attention.

Secondly - the platform toe. The toe box is often so badly worn down (worn down) that it's easier to throw the pair away than take it in for repair. In this case, the insole protrudes beyond the edge of the sole significantly, and this can't be fixed even by extending the platform.

Third - a crack or break where the toe box and the platform meet. Such pairs should definitely not be repaired.

Note: If the heel is damaged during use, it can be sawed off at some specialized repair shops, including ours. The result will be a heelless shoe or a heelcut. Whether you can dance in such shoes or sandals is entirely up to you; the lack of a heel makes them less stable.
